Ice Hockey
The Wentzville Holt Hockey club is dedicated to represent our school with integrity and respect our opponents, our teammates and the game of hockey. It's the club's desire to use hockey as a tool to help develop responsible young men and women during their high school hockey career!
Our club fields both a Varsity and B Team from the Wentzville Holt and North Point schools.
Ages
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Players in 7th to 10th grade are eligible to play on the B Team
Players in 9th to 12th grade are eligible to play on the Varsity team.
All players birth year 2006 or earlier must take the USA Hockey SafeSport online training.
When
What time of the year do these programs run?
Summer Camp: Our summer camp is a great way to get back on the ice! Typically camp is two times a week during the last three weeks in August each year. During our camp, varsity tryouts will be held.
- Regular Season: The season begins in September and runs until playoffs in February.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Practices and home games are held at the Wentzville Ice Arena. Games may be played across the metro region.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Varsity teams practice 2 times per week, Monday's at 7:10pm and Thursday's at 6:00pm.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Varsity team typically plays one game a week starting in November and playoffs beginning in February.
B Team will begin practice in February.
Uniforms
Are uniforms provided or are they purchased separately?
Club uniforms(jersey, socks, pant shells) are required and may be purchased once rostered.

Registration for 2024-2025 Try-Outs is now open!
Make sure your player has a current USA Hockey Registration for 2024-25 season. A current USA Hockey Registration number is REQUIRED to register with Holt Hockey.
